It primarily sells frozen food, but also offers a wide range of dry and chilled stock from named brands as well as several lines under its own brand. The company, which currently employs 2,500 staff, was acquired by B&M in August 2017 and has ambitious growth plans as it seeks to seize market share and capitalise on new trends and opportunities in the retail space.

Funky Pigeon is a fast-growing UK-based online retailer of greetings cards, calendars, stationary and gifts, many of which can be personalised with an easy to use online editor. Funky Pigeon specialise in helping create a memorable keepsake, present or card for any occasion. The company was acquired by WH Smith in 2010 and now has four million active customers.
Missguided drives accelerated growth with AWS and Claranet
Executive summary Challenge: Missguided's success is built on its ability to deliver a fast, seamless experience for its customers, but intense sales days meant they would have to prioritise traffic to keep their website running. Solution: Claranet migrated around 170 servers into AWS within six weeks (twice as fast as intially expected), moving the whole system onto a completely different architecture, removing all bandwidth and availability issues and putting in a place a new disaster recovery system.
Spendology exchanges private solution for AWS and Claranet
Spendology (previously Travel Money Club) is a currency exchange fintech which aims to revolutionise the buying and organising of travel money. Aimed at frequent travellers, the website offers subscribers preferential currency exchange rates to those offered on the high street as well as a next-day delivery service. Their forward order service allows members to automatically buy any currency when it reaches their desired exchange rate. Following a live pilot phase, these services are being made generally available via a mobile app and website.
